Jesus Saves Boy and more

Carlos De Valera from Mexico City was a professor of philosophy who had written many books promoting atheism, but his beliefs changed when Jesus miraculously saved his son from death! The miracle occurred one morning when his son, Miguel, was playing in the garden. His father heard his son cry out:
“I rushed out to find my son and saw the grating, covering a storm drain, had shifted and he had fallen through. I looked into the opening and saw my little boy floundering in the dark water 30ft below. I knew he couldn’t swim and I only had minutes to save him. I looked around for a way to help him – and got the shock of my life.

Standing beside me was a dark-haired man with a long beard and soft gentle eyes. He raised His hand and my son came slowly floating up from the drain, into the air, and landed unharmed beside me, he was sopping wet, but unharmed.

The bearded man smiled, His entire being was bathed in light and I knew it was Jesus, suddenly He was gone.

I believe that Jesus wants me to spread the word that I was wrong when I said there was no God. God is real and we should all worship Him!”

He stopped me from committing suicide!

Judy Galvereau tells her story: “I lost my husband, Mel, to cancer, we had enjoyed 12 wonderful years together. I was so depressed I couldn’t eat or sleep, life seemed utterly pointless without him.”
“On June 3rd two months after his death, I took a drive to a remote beach, to end it all. I sat by myself and began to cry; suddenly I began to feel a warm sensation in my body. I looked up and noticed a man sitting beside me; I had no idea where he came from. I sensed I could trust him, he took my hand, but he said nothing. All at once I was pouring my heart out to him. I told him things I had never told anyone, all my pain and loss. When I was finished I sensed a lightness, a peace, that I had never known before. The man rose to leave and I asked him who he was – even though I somehow knew – and he finally spoke: “John 10:14″ He said.”
“I went home and looked it up in my Bible, it said”:

“I am the good shepherd and I know my sheep and I am known by them.”

He’s been holding my hand all day

A 26-year-old mother stared down at her son who was dying of terminal leukemia. Like any parent she wanted her son to grow up and fulfil all his dreams, she took her son’s hand and asked, “Billy, did you ever think about what you wanted to be once you grew up? Did you ever dream and wish what you would do with your life?”

“Mommy, I always wanted to be a fireman when I grew up.” Mom smiled back and said, “lets see if we can make your wish come true.”
Later that day she went to her local fire department in Phoenix, Arizona, where she met Fireman Bob, she explained her son’s wish and asked if it might be possible to give her six year old son a ride around the
block on a fire engine.

Fireman Bob said “Look, we can do better than that, have him ready by 7am on Wednesday and we will make him an honorary fireman for the whole day. He can come down to the station, eat with us, go out on all the fire calls, the whole nine yards! And if you give us his sizes, we’ll get a real fire uniform for him, not a toy one, with the emblem of the Phoenix Fire Department on it, a yellow slicker like we wear and rubber boots.”

Three days later Fireman Bob picked up Billy, dressed him in his uniform and escorted him from his hospital bed to the waiting hook and ladder truck. Billy got to sit on the back of the truck and help steer it back to the fire station. He rode in the different fire engines, the paramedics van and even the fire chiefs car. He was also videotaped for the local news program.
Having his dream come true, with all the love and attention that was lavished upon him, so deeply touched Billy that he lived three months longer than any doctor thought possible.

One night all of his vital signs began to drop dramatically and the head nurse, who believed in the hospice concept that no one should die alone, began to call the family members to the hospital. Then she remembered the day Billy spent as a fireman, so she called the Fire Chief and asked if it would be possible to send a fireman in uniform to the hospital to be with Billy as he made his transition. The Chief replied, “We can do better than that. We’ll be there in five minutes. Will you please do me a favor? When you hear the sirens screaming and see the lights flashing, will you announce over the P.A. system that there is not a fire? It’s just the fire department coming to see one of its finest members one more time. And will you open the window to his room?”

About five minutes later a hook and ladder truck arrived at the hospital and extended its ladder up to Billy’s third-floor, open window. Sixteen firefighters climbed up the ladder into Billy’s room. With his mother’s permission, they hugged him and held him and told him how much they loved him.
With his dying breath, Billy looked up at the fire chief and said “Chief, am I really a fireman now?”
“Billy, you are, and the Head Chief, Jesus, is holding your hand”, the Chief said. And with those words, Billy smiled and said, “I know, He’s been holding my hand all day, and the angels have been singing”. He closed his eyes one last time.

You asked why?

Sister Briege McKenna, a Franciscan Nun, is renowned the world over for her healing ministry and her talks on the Christian faith and God has worked many miracles of physical healings through her hands. Although she works within this great healing ministry, she knows that sometimes God asks that we endure our sufferings, through love, for His intentions. Here is a story of one such occasion to which she became a witness.

Sr Briege was asked by a young lady to come and pray with her husband who was dying of cancer. The lady told Sr Briege that she hoped she would not be too overcome by the terrible sight of her husband’s face as he had half of his face missing, eaten away by the cancer. As Sr Briege entered the room she looked at Jim sitting on the bed and saw that despite his physical appearance, he was radiating a light from his face – he was aglow with the love of God.

Sr Briege sat and prayed with Jim and he told her of an experience that he had had a few days earlier. Jim had woken at 4am to find his pillow soaked in blood. Not wanting to disturb his wife he went to the bathroom to try to stop the bleeding by himself. He began to place tissues upon the open wound to soak up the blood, but it just kept bleeding. Jim felt very low and began to cry with frustration, he felt desperate and so alone – he believed he was going to bleed to death. He cried out several times: “Why?
Why? Why?”

Suddenly Jim felt a presence in the room, he turned to look but no one was there. As he turned back he gazed upon one of the tissues in the sink which had flattened out and in the middle of it the blood had collected together to form a perfect Crucifix. Jim could hardly believe what he was seeing – the perfect image of Christ crucified. As he gazed upon this image he heard a voice say: “Tom, you asked why? You asked why? But when I was upon Calvary, bleeding and alone, rejected and condemned to death, I did not ask why, but I said why not – because I love you.”

Tom showed Sr Briege the image on the tissue, which he had now placed in a gold locket. Sr Briege claimed it was one of the most powerful images of Christ’s sufferings that she had ever seen. Tom told her that he no longer asked for healing from the Lord, because he had a strong sense that Jesus was asking him to offer up his sufferings and unite them to Christ’s sufferings. Sr Briege said she could see the presence of God glowing through this man and although he was not physically healed, God had made him beautiful – “God had polished him like a diamond.”

So we do not lose heart. Though our outer nature is wasting away, our inner nature is being renewed every day. For this slight momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, because we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
(2 Corinthians 4:16-18)

I recently received a healing. I don’t recall having asked for it but I received it and along with the healing, was shown an apparition.
The apparition was a vision of an opening, an entry to another realm.
I was looking up from the MRI scanner when a line appeared in the space above me, near the ceiling of the room. It was a good long arm’s reach above me
The line shimmered and opened into a mouth-shaped opening and descended towards me and as it did, it stretched to the full length of my body.
The sides of the opening were coloured a wonderful and deep sapphire blue with sparkling spinning stars attached.
    It was an awesome sight.
I seemed then to float up into the vision and once inside realised I was in two places at once.
Inside all was dark and profoundly silent while below me, the MRI scanner was banging away making an awful racket.
Inside, a pair of hands gently held onto my left leg, just above the knee. It seemed a perfectly normal occurrence. My left knee had developed a lump that was growing by the day and was making walking quite difficult which is why my doctor sent me to have an MRI scan, preparatory to surgery.
Looking around in the dark space I saw the face of a person and I knew that it was not the one holding my leg. She was floating at the level of my feet but several feet away from me. I could just about make out her short hair and face but couldn’t see clearly who it was.
Inside the vision I was not prone but standing.
It took no effort to float down to look at the face while the healer’s hands continued to hold my leg. No one spoke to me, all was deeply silent and I was not aware of who it was was healing me, but that a healing was taking place and that the healer was a man, not the floating woman.
I sensed when the healing was complete and said “thanks, I’m off now, ok?” and immediately returned to my body. The vision then closed shut above me and was gone. It was suddenly like it had never been there.
I could only look at the space where it had been and wonder what it was that had just happened. Out of body stuff I’d certainly heard of and did’t give much thought to it.
Nothing like this had ever happened to me before. I have no explanation and so can only accept it and be profoundly grateful.
The healing in my leg wasn’t instant, it was gradual. I limped out of the hospital as I had limped in, though the pain had already begun to wane.
It was the following day before the lump dissolved entirely.
    I no longer need surgery.
I don’t need the pain killers either though the doctor prescribed them anyway; “just in case”, he said.
The scan result still shows a big nasty lump inside my left knee, stretching down into my calf.
