Healed of Blindness

"Our son Conchur was born with a benign tumour at the back of his right eye, he had no sight whatsoever in that eye, my husband and I were devastated. The Doctors told us that no man or equipment could make the eye perfect - nothing!
One day, three years ago, a friend said to me, "Eddie Stones is doing a retreat in Belfast. Why don't you try to go?" Going didn't appear possible then, but at the last minute it became possible.
I got talking to Eddie and told him that my son had been born blind in his right eye and that nothing could be done for him. When Eddie prayed with Conchur he told us that he saw a car windscreen with the rain running down the windscreen and the wipers washing the screen clean. He also saw two headlights, one on, and the other was dim. This was all new to me but I did not want to be rude and ask questions.
An hour or so later we were at Mass, and when the priest, Fr.Ronnie Mitchell, lifted up the Host, the most amazing thing happened, and I was to realise the full meaning of Eddie Stones vision.
Conchur's right eye began to run tears; he lifted up his right hand (the wipers) to wipe the tears away (rain). On doing that he turned to me and said, "Mummy I can see out of my bad eye" (which was the dim headlight coming on).
My heart was turning over watching this in front of me. I immediately went to my bag to get pen and paper and I wrote the tiniest letter that I could make. Conchur was able to see it with his up-to-now blind eye. Just before Mass was finished, I went up to the altar to tell Eddie and Fr. Ronnie what had happened. It was a fantastic day. I will never forget it. My son was physically blind and I was spiritually blind. The God I had then is not the God I have now, He is truly alive and I love Him!

"What is impossible with men is possible with God!"
