You cannot take anything with you from this world into the next, only the love within your heart, the faith within your soul, the merits of your suffering, and the value of your prayers.

The difference between the peace of Christ and that of the world, is that the former does not depend upon the circumstances around us to be received, whereas the latter always does.

When your relationship with Jesus deepens, you will feel within your heart, that His love means everything to you and His love will become more precious to you than all the treasures of the world combined.

We must love God purely for Himself and not for the consolations that we receive from Him if our love is to be unconditional and Christ-like.

We all shed tears at times, but the closer our union with God becomes, the sweeter our tears will be.

If we could only see the many graces brought to the soul during times of trial, we should better understand why God allows such things.

God’s mercy is far greater than all our sinfulness!

We must try to do all things out of love - expecting no reward. We must learn to give all things, endure all things and forgive all things, for the love of Jesus, and for no other reward than knowing we are fulfilling His will.

The greatest harmony in this life can only be achieved if the balance is correct, that is 100% God and 0% self.

Don’t love Jesus only because you need Him, but rather, need Him only because you love Him.

Praying for the intentions of others profits your own soul as much as praying for yourself.

All our efforts are necessary and reveal to God the depths of our love, but they will never be enough. Grace, grace, grace - everything is reliant upon God’s grace!
