God reveals to us the way of love but does not force us to follow. He allows us to know the consequences of evil, but does not tempt us to fall.

True repentance is proven by not falling into the same fault again!

Although God allows us to endure harsh trials at times, He will never allow us to be overcome by them. Furthermore, we know that trials are necessary in this life if we wish to become a wise, strong and loving soul.

The worst thing a person can do - and one of the easiest things to do - is to lie to oneself, in doing this we cheat ourselves out of the virtue of perseverance. We must acknowledge our faults and not ignore them.

If we do not love to the point of self-sacrifice, then our love is not Christ-like!

If we don’t deny ourselves some of the pleasures in this world, then the devil will deny us nothing.

We must have the “Patience of a Saint” - what does this mean? It means that we must not allow ourselves to become frustrated with someone - even if that person is doing the exact opposite of that which we wish them to do.

Forgiving others is not an option, but a necessity, if we wish to live a spiritual life.
