The prayer below was composed by Pope Leo Xlll after he received a vision in which he saw the battle between the Church and satan:

St Michael the Archangel, defend us in our hour of need; Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God restrain Him, we humbly pray, and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast satan into Hell, and with him all evil spirits who wander through the world, for the ruin of souls. Amen.

The following prayer was given by Our Lord to Sr. M. Martha Chambon in 1907. Our Lord promised: “I will grant all that is asked of Me by the invocation of My Holy Wounds. You must spread the devotion.” He also promised to pour a drop of His Precious Blood upon a soul for each word that was recited during this prayer.

The following prayer is to be said on Rosary Beads. The prayer is begun in this manner: After kissing Our Lord’s feet on the crucifix we say:

O Jesus, Divine Redeemer, be merciful to us and to the whole world. Amen
And then on the three small beads:
1) Strong God, Holy God, Immortal God, Have mercy on us and on the whole world. Amen.
2) Grace and Mercy, O my Jesus, during present dangers cover us with Your Precious Blood. Amen
3) Eternal Father, Grant us mercy through the Blood of Jesus Christ, Your only Son, Our Lord, grant us mercy we beseech You. Amen
On the large beads:
Eternal Father, I offer You the wounds of our Lord Jesus Christ to heal the wounds of our souls. Amen
On the small beads:
My Jesus, pardon and mercy through the merits of Your Holy Wounds. Amen
