If you get a Bible Concordance and look up the word “nature” you will see many quotes from the apostles telling us how our “corrupt nature” is transformed into the “spiritual nature” because of the coming of the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit which brings life to the soul, transforming it into the nature of God, the new creation. Jesus tells us, “Whoever drinks the water that I shall give him will never thirst; the water that I shall give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life” (John 4:14) Yes, we are the Temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor 3:16), the Mystical Body of Christ (Rom 12:4 & 5), we are the Bride of Christ (Rev 19:7 & 8), a Royal Priesthood (1 Peter 2:9) and we are the New Creation (2 Cor 5:7).
O’ what joy there is to be found in the Father’s love; what peace we possess in having the certain hope of eternal life. What dreams we all share of the beautiful home coming, where we will all be together in the Kingdom of Heaven. Thank you Father! Thank you Jesus! Thank you Holy Spirit!
