Being the Face of God

“Be the face of God upon the earth:
His arms that embrace, His guiding hand,
His loving smile. Let everyone see the love of
God through you – His Mystical Body.”

Geoff Heggadon

Greetings dear family of our beloved Saviour Jesus Christ. May our loving Father grant us all the grace to love Him as He so deserves to be loved, and to open our hearts to the receiving of His love, which He so longs to share with us. May He grant us the grace to glorify Him with our lives and enable us to bring His light to all the souls that are in need.

Let us come together once more in a celebration of our Heavenly Father’s love. Our Father loves us beyond measure and sent His only Son to die for us that we might know His love and the promise of a new life with Him. He comes to us through the power of the Holy Spirit, to love, comfort and guide us; He comes to sanctify us with His own life-giving Spirit. Let us love our Heavenly Father by our service to Him. Let us offer to Him our whole being that He may use us for His glory and to gather souls for His Kingdom. Let us pray each day in the Spirit for the Pope, the Church, for missionaries and vocations, for peace in our world, for the conversion of hardened hearts, for unity among Christians, for harmony between the different world faiths and for love to grow within the hearts of all people. Let us be the face of God upon the earth!

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.” (Joel 2 : 28)

And Peter said to them, “Repent, and be baptised every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children and to all that are far off, every one whom the Lord our God calls to Him.” (Acts 2 : 38-40)
