Rosary of Will Power and Self Control

This is the Rosary of the Will Power and Self Control, very necessary virtues to resist temptation, overcome addictions and eliminate vices from our life. Self Control is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit. In Galatians 5: 22-23 we read: “On the other hand the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, trustfulness,23 gentleness and self-control; no law can touch such things as these. New Jerusalem Bible We need self-control and will power in order to overcome addictions and temptations. The seven capital sins are overcome with the cardinal virtues but in order to bring about the virtues and resist temptation to sin we need will power and self-control. Chastity overcomes the sin of lust, generosity overcomes the sin of Greed, temperance overcomes the sin of gluttony, brotherly love overcomes the sin of envy, meekness overcomes the sin of anger, humility overcomes the sin of Pride, and diligence overcomes the sin of sloth, and to acquire these virtues you need self-control. In order to exercise these virtues you need prayer and fasting, and this Rosary is a Biblical Prayer asking the Lord to give you the strength, the will power and self-control to overcome anything you are struggling with.
Will power as well as self-control is like a muscle, the more you practice them the stronger you will become. You cannot do it alone. Only with Jesus Christ you can obtain the victory over your addictions and vices.
This Rosary is composed from Scripture and the Word of God is living and does not leave someone without producing the Fruits of the Holy Spirit imprinted in one’s soul if we ask God with faith. I invite you to pray this Rosary how many times you need in order to overcome an addiction, a vice or a capital sin.
God Bless You
